ETUDES IN SILENCE

I wanted to continue my work with inkjet prints on transparencies, but also wished to go in a new direction.  In "That Fish Place in Valdez" and "Old Boat," I reduced two of my own photographs to their most basic lines.   Developing this technique further, I emphasized the major contours in "Lady Gaga I" and "Lady Gaga II."
