"The Wellspring of Fairy Tales is Fear" is a suite of inkjet prints on transparencies laid over handmade paper sheets, similar to the series The Weight of Death is a Mystery.  This suite is an open edition.  It began with research into fairy tales; most of these narratives seem to have grown from pagan roots and like many folk stories, they deal with creatures and forces that watch over, guide or sometimes threaten children and young adults. Fairy tales are often read as cautionary tales.
